LOCKDOWN MADNESS HITS MORRISONS

YOUTHS ARRESTED

POLICE ATTEND MORRISONS IN FLEET

Lockdown may still be in full force but that didn’t stop the drama in Morrisons today as police responded to trouble inside the store.

A police car was spotted on the road to the petrol station at Morrisons in Elvetham Heath along with a police van in the car park just before 6pm tonight.

Staff said there were three or four youths stealing beer and throwing cans all over the store. A security guard inside the building attempted to stop the young men but was hit in an ensuing argument.

Police questioned one young man in the back of their van, before driving away, seemingly to pursue other suspects further down the road.

It appears that the police caught up with those they were in pursuit of as they were later seen with two young males who were handcuffed. According to staff inside the store, they were not thought to be local.
