AND SO IT CONTINUES…
The comings and goings in Fleet show no sign of slowing down, as two more popular shops pack up and make plans to move on.
Both Shoezone and Anthony Brooks are winding down their business in Fleet, leaving two more empty spaces in their wake.
The loss of Shoezone will be another blow to the Hart Centre as the ageing mini mall loses yet more of its appeal, following the recently announced closure of Argos.
The store is set to close on January 3rd, so if you are a fan of the discount shoe store, you have until then to pay it a last visit or two.

Anthony Brooks had already started offering heavily discounted items last month, which has now turned into a closing down sale.
They haven’t given an exact date for the closure, only stating that they “might not be here for long”.

The closure of two more stores will leave people wondering if this will ultimately mean more takeaways, coffee shops and barbers in Fleet, or will they simply remain empty?
