TRAVELLERS BREAK INTO FORMER FLEET POLICE STATION
IRONY AS POLICE ARE CALLED TO ATTEND POLICE STATION…
If you were wondering what it would take to get police back into Crookham Road police station in Fleet, here you go…a group of travellers have broken into the former police station, which is now in the hands of developers. It is possibly best avoided at this time, with congestion building up in the area.
Police have been informed of the situation. Travellers were earlier evicted from Hook but it’s unclear if these are the same people.
Part of the illegal setup includes a van with a garden logo on the side, and it appears the travellers might use this to get local work.

Please be careful if you are planning on having garden work done and watch out for the van in the photo below. After a recent ‘visit’ to Elvetham Heath, travellers looked to have used a van with a garden business logo on to carry out work locally but then dumped the waste, along with all the other mess they left behind.

Updates will be posted as more information becomes available.
