NEW SCAM IN TOWN
Following the collapse of the Thomas Cook chain, the scammers are wasting no time at all in attempting to benefit from the misery of their previous customers.
Random phone calls are being received from the fraudsters, claiming to be from Thomas Cook and offering a refund on holidays that have been recently purchased. While some people won’t have booked anything with the company, there are plenty of others who may be suffering after the recent closure and may be tempted to hand over their card details. Please don’t do it – they are fake and you will receive no refunds.
