POLICE AND CRIME COMMISSIONER ANNOUNCED

After the frenzy of the local elections, the last set of results are now in and the winning candidate has been announced for the position of Police and Crime Commissioner for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Donna Jones, Conservative candidate, won the seat with a massive majority of 167,000 votes (313,000 votes in total).

Ms Jones commented:

“I did it! 🌟Today I was elected as the Police & Crime Commissioner for Hampshire & IOW with 313k votes, a majority of 167k votes!!! Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me. Wow I’m literally blown away 🙏🏻

Her commission reflects votes all over the UK with the Conservative party celebrating a huge overall victory.
