THE RETURN OF P.G!

Eagle Radio may be a thing of the past now sadly but if you are still suffering withdrawal symptoms then there’s some good news, as Peter Gordon returns!

P.G. as he’s known to his faithful followers has teamed up with his old Eagle teammates, Bev and Matt, to produce a Podcast, imaginatively titled “The Peter Gordon Pod”. The podcast sees the familiar team chat about everything from movies and TV to…er…sheds. So, if you fancy reliving the good old Eagle Radio days by hearing the team in action once more, pop over to their Podcasts Page and have a little listen.

Below: P.G’s Podcast!

But it doesn’t stop there, P.G. is the gift that just keeps on giving this Christmas as he joins up with a new station (with possibly the best name ever) Radio Biscuit! Radio Biscuit can be listened to online and it is also joining the small scale DAB trial in Aldershot and Woking. Radio Biscuit describes itself as…”A different kind of radio station, baked especially for you and playing the tunes other stations won’t, with forgotten classics from the bottom of the biscuit barrel“.  With a description like that, how can it possibly fail!

If you are still craving another slice of P.G. after all that, then tune into BBC Surrey for the breakfast show between 6 – 10am…and for a special Christmas treat, Wey Valley Radio on Christmas morning between 8am – 10am for the Peter Gordon Breakfast Show, start the big day off in style!

So what does the great man himself say about all this? Peter says he is truly “honoured and surprised to hear so many seem to be interested [in him]” and that he is working on a number of projects right now, some of which we can see already!

Hope that’s eased the Peter Gordon withdrawal symptoms for you all, enjoy the Christmas treats and breath a sigh of relief to know that your favourite presenter is still going strong! We happen to know Peter is a follower of ForFleetsSake.co.uk – so from us to you – Happy Christmas P.G, good to see you back!
