LIVESTREAM ISSUES ALMOST SORTED…AGAIN!
Following on from our last post about Hart District Council offering livestreams of their Council meetings, it looks like things may finally be on the right track…maybe.
Previous issues have included objections to livestreams by a local Councillor as well as firewall, microphone and other technical problems.
Despite this, Councillor Steve Forster has backed the scheme, stating that “there should be nothing to hide”. It is hoped that this will present an opportunity for people to be fully engaged with local politics and to have a greater trust in the process, ensuring everyone finally gets to see exactly what is discussed on their behalf.
