Hampshire Countryside Alert Blue Green Algae Fleet Pond - Fleet, Hampshire

HART COUNTRYSIDE WARNING

Hart Countryside warned today that there is a return of the dangerous blue-green algae at Fleet pond. This algae is toxic to both humans and animals and should be avoided at all costs, so please be careful where you go and keep dogs away from the contaminated areas.

UPDATE – MONDAY AUGUST 5TH

The Blue-Green Algae has now spread to Sandy Bay.

Please avoid letting dogs swim in the water at Fleet Pond.
