OUR FRIENDS IN NIGERIA STRIKE AGAIN!
Be on the lookout for fake Health Lottery letters coming through your door. They arrange a day and time to deliver your winnings to you but right before it’s due, contact you and say that their bank insists you must pay £1500 delivery insurance. The ‘Board of Internal Affairs’ is registered not in the UK but in…you guessed it…Nigeria.
Many thanks to Councillor Alan Hope for letting us know about this and for following it through to see the lengths that these people go to to get their hands on your money. Please make sure local friends, family and especially elderly residents are aware of this.
