FLEET CAN’T GET ENOUGH OF ELVIS!
After his hugely successful appearance at the Fleet Christmas Festivities evening this year, where he drew in large crowds of all ages, it seems we can’t get enough of Elvis as he is back by popular demand!
The event went down so well that Dave and his band have been asked back to the Hart Centre to chase away those New Year Blues on Saturday January 11th, in the same large area as his Christmas performance. The old Cafe Giardino site worked wonderfully this year, with people crowding around the impromptu stage and hanging out to watch his performance…(a lot easier than being cramped outside Waitrose in the shopping trolley bay!).
It’s understood there have been no objections to the performance this time round, as the popularity of the show has proven itself without doubt. The date is just a few days after what would have been Elvis’s 85th birthday (on 8th January), so it’s a special occasion for the lifelong fan as once again he performs with all proceeds going to charity. This time round the band will be collecting for Frimley Park, so bring your wallets along to donate a few quid if you can!

Dave said he was overwhelmed by the support shown to him by the residents of Fleet and couldn’t believe the crowds of people, from old to young, who gathered to watch him perform. He can’t wait until the New Year performance and says it’s something to really look forward to after Christmas.

The Hart Centre confirmed the New Year booking, acknowledging the great success of the Christmas show by saying “I think the number of people around the area says it all!” and that there were no objections this year – he was “loved by all!”
So please join Dave, his wife Dee and their brilliant band, give yourself something to look forward to once the seasonal madness has finally died down, support Frimley Park and help support local business all at the same time. The show is on Saturday January 11th between 11am and 4pm so mark it in your diaries – see you there!
Thank you…thank you very much.
