CHRISTMAS ARRIVES IN FLEET

Whether you’re already digging out the baubles and scoffing mince pies…or muting the endless stream of Christmas adverts and hiding behind the sofa, you can’t escape it…as Christmas arrives in Fleet.

The familiar sight of the Gurkha Square Christmas tree has made an appearance and is all set to be decorated for the festive season.

The Fleet Road decorations had already been put up previous to the Remembrance Day parade on Sunday and could be seen clearly at the event.

On the subject of Christmas, if you are one of the long suffering subscribers to the on-off green bin service, you will be able to leave any real Christmas trees next to your green bin for kerbside collection this year. Subscriptions were extended into the winter period to make up for the many missed Summer collections. Every cloud eh?!
